Even though an Advisory Committee is mandated by the state Career and Technical Education (CTE) guidelines, it is the philosophy of SEBS to include community professionals, parents and students in the direction of our school. In trying to stay at the leading edge of the education offered to the students of our school, it is vital we know the heartbeat of industry and the world our students are to embark upon.
Many of the community and business partnerships that have been established are products of the Advisory Committee’s work and participation of the process.

Advisory boards are a necessary ally to the successful future of a program. The focus of our Advisory Committee allows the stakeholders of our program(s) to be informed about what is currently going on and to bring new ideas that will help our education move to the next level.
